Doug Root

With his Master’s Degree in Education, Doug was instrumental in bringing the Dave Ramsey Foundations in Personal Finance for High School Students curriculum into the school where he taught for seven years. He taught his students the basics of handling their finances using the Dave Ramsey foundations – the same principals that Doug and his wife, Kelly were introduced to at the Financial Peace University class held at his church.

Doug feels that the richest and most rewarding thing in his life is helping people. He is most fulfilled when lending a hand, assisting someone, or going out of his way to make sure everyone around him has what they need when they need it. This is the exact reason he got into the financial advising industry – to help people win with their money. He is passionate about the Dave Ramsey Principles and is eager to come alongside his clients on their journey towards financial confidence.

Doug currently holds his Series 7 and 66 Securities Licenses as well as Life, Health, Property and Casualty Licenses. When he isn’t advising people, you can find him flying his drone, riding bike with his family to the local coffee shop, pushing his two sons, Gavin and Greyson, on their swing or trying out new eateries with his wife, Kelly.
