In Trevor’s words
Your partner in building a clear financial future.
I love financial planning because it's such a unique blend of in-depth, geeky strategy and deep interpersonal relationships built over years, not transactions. In many ways, it's like helping someone play the chess game of life — thinking several moves ahead so that every decision brings them closer to the vision they have for their future.
My path here started in pastoral ministry, where I discovered how much I loved walking alongside people through the real, tangible stuff of life. I still serve as a non-vocational elder at my local church today. But over time, I realized I wanted to help people align their values, goals, and money too so they could live more integrated, fulfilling lives. That conviction is what led Tony and me to found Clarity Financial Advisors in 2022. We wanted the freedom to build something fee-only and fiduciary from the ground up, backed by the best technology and structure, so our clients could actually thrive.
I have a particular passion for helping people connect their faith and values with their finances, to find greater alignment and impact in both their investing and their giving. I believe what Jesus taught: it's more blessed to give than to receive, and real financial peace doesn't just come from having more, but from stewarding well what we've already been entrusted with.
Outside the office, I'm married to my amazing wife, Emily, and we have three kids — Theo, Luke, and Hannah. You'll usually find me on the water fishing or spearfishing, cheering on the Chiefs (born and raised in Kansas City), reading something new, or serving at church as an elder, house group leader, and men's ministry leader.
